George's migration from Maryland to Virginia is documented in deed, recorded in Prince Georges Co. MD Land Records, Liber HH, f. 560-5, 1 Sep 1787; many of his children listed their birth place as Maryland on the 1850 census. His migration from Albemarle Co. VA to Garrard Co. KY is documented in "Albemarle County in Virginia" by Rev. Edgar Woods; pp. 387-91. In Garrard Co. KY Deeds; Book A; p. 235-6; 29 Mar 1813; George & Jane of Garrard sell land in Albemarle to Thomas Naylor.

George is positively linked to Thomas Naylor of Albemarle in his rejected will; 24 Dec 1835; Madison Co. KY; in which he names his grandaughter Elizabeth Stormes. Thomas Naylor of Albemarle names Elizabeth Storms as his daughter.
